Sandblasting is a very important part to getting a good

clean paint job or powder coating job. Its like mopping over a floor without

sweeping it first it doesn’t come out as clean as it would if the surface was

cleaned first. Preparation is essential to getting a good finish. In most cases

when dealing raw metals parts are cleaned to free them of dust, rust,

grease, and any oils from machining. However, when parts have remaining

paint or powder it’s suggested to sandblast or media blast to ensure you not

only get a glass finish but get longevity out of your finish. Parts that need to
